All S models use long-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration. This innovative design provides higher efficiency compared to direct-radiating subwoofers and also ensures better coupling of the ports with the outside air, reducing distortion and turbulence for a more defined sound and a deep, dynamic low-frequency response. The new Class D amplifier modules with lightweight, compact, and reliable Switch Mode power supplies are capable of generating high levels of continuous power. All models include a stereo input section, 24dB\/oct crossover filters with selectable frequency, and a phase switch.
