The FWD60 has a flat top, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a modern shape vaguely reminiscent of a Fender Stratocaster or some of Ibanez’s Roadstar II series models from the 1980s. It features a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with chrome covers mounted in ivory pickup rings, a fixed bridge, a plastic nut, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with half moon buttons.
