OVERVIEW OF THE ASHDOWN SX-5C COMBO
The new SX line from Ashdown offers modern and versatile guitar amplifiers, suitable for practice, recording sessions, or live performances. These tube amplifiers add modern features to a classic tone. The SX-5C Combo has a power of 5 watts and is powered by one ECC83 tube and one EL84 tube, with a 12" Celestion speaker. This combination provides a rich, warm, and dynamic sound. This single-channel amplifier is equipped with digital reverb, a serial effects loop, and an output with cabinet simulation for direct recording. The Stealth switch reduces overall volume while engaging speaker tone compensation for practice. The speaker mute function activates the headphone output, allowing for silent playing. The AUX input allows you to play along with backing tracks or audio. The Record Out output with cabinet simulator allows you to record the amplifier's tube sound directly. Additional cabinets can be connected using the 16 and 8 Ohm outputs.
