| The luxurious flamed maple top offers a premium-class look that can only be found on higher-priced instruments. The poplar used for the body is considered similar to alder in sound, providing a full-bodied resonance with a meaty tone. The versatile, time-tested J-style pickup in the neck position provides a natural and mellow sound, while the bridge position adds crispness and articulation to the tone. The hard Canadian maple neck provides power and stability as well as a warm, beefy, and punchy tone with a strong upper-mid range. Dense and rigid but with the right amount of tactile flexibility, it responds sensitively to your attack and slapping with plenty of articulation and power. Designed and crafted to facilitate access to the upper register of the fretboard, the new Ergonomic Neck Joint increases comfort while reducing stress on the tendons and awkward wrist and finger positions. |
