| Fans of the timeless Fender Jazz Bass—with its sculpted contours, responsive feel, and highly successful musical sound—will surely find its counterpart in the American Performer series at a surprising price. On board each one, you will find two passive Yosemite Alnico V pickups with modern electronics for clean and quiet output. The modern satin maple "C" neck is crafted for comfort and speed, and its lightweight alder body promises great, long-lasting performance without making you break a sweat. Modern differences from the classic J include the Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off highs without adding bass or reducing volume, offering a high level of control directly from your instrument. |
