| Thanks to the khaya body and red cedar top with warm and balanced acoustic properties, the T118s easily outperform the competition in their price range. The Slim body is light and thin, which takes a bit of bass away from the sound, resulting in a precise and defined tone. The solid red cedar used for the top produces a soft and full-bodied sound, rich in natural harmonics. This wood responds very quickly to a light touch, making the guitar suitable for fingerstyle players looking for a warm sound. The back, sides, and neck are made of Khaya Mahogany. The bridge and fingerboard are made of Branko Wood (or Brownwood), an eco-friendly wood resistant to temperature and humidity changes. The cutaway allows for easier access to the upper part of the fretboard. The Astro-Lâg system, in addition to the tuner, volume, and Phase control, offers a 3-band equalizer, a Brilliance knob to manage brightness, and a Notch knob that allows you to cut the frequencies that generate feedback. |
