| The solid-state preamplifier of the Markbass Casa has a warm and natural sound, and faithfully reproduces the true tone of your instrument. The basic high and low tone controls offer excellent plug & play, and thanks to the complete and effective 5-band EQ section, you can achieve a wide range of sounds. It allows for immediate access to two different EQ settings as it is footswitchable, a very useful feature for live applications. People often use words like warm, punchy, clear, honest, accurate, and even aggressive to describe Markbass. They also say that Markbass amps allow them to sound like themselves! What's the secret? MPT, or Mark Proprietary Technology: all bass amplifiers on the market use the same power amplifiers from various manufacturers, which are not specifically designed for bass. At Markbass, Marco De Virgiliis invested heavily in R&D to develop proprietary power amplifier technology, specifically designed to respect and glorify the sound of your instrument. The 500-watt MPT amplifier in the Markbass Casa provides great attack and definition with impeccable reproduction of low frequencies. |
