These stunning limited edition PRS SE Custom 24 guitars are the only models in the range with a maple neck and fretboard. The new PRS SEs offer incredible value for money and a stunning look, thanks to a beautiful flamed maple top. The maple top will give you a completely different sound to what you would normally get from a rosewood one. It has a bright and snappy sound and gives surprising clarity to your notes, even when using a bit of gain. The back of the neck feels incredible to play thanks to its satin finish. Your hands will fly up and down the neck without your grip being hindered by a sticky, glossy finish. The pickups on this guitar are based on the incredible 85/15 pickups that have recently been used in all models in the American Core line. Paul Reed Smith said these would have been the perfect pickups in 1985 because they are hot enough to provide versatile saturated tones, but they can also clean up beautifully. They offer crystal-clear definition, minus the harsh high frequencies. Made in South Korea, these guitars are built to the highest possible standards and are checked for even the smallest defects before they even reach the UK. This level of precision means that the guitars will last for years and years even if they spend most of their life on the road.
