| The Royale has been designed to deliver a loud, vivid clean sound with a remarkably responsive and tactile low end. A 50W high-headroom tube amplifier with a powerful EQ, footswitchable boost, tube-buffered effects loop, and glorious tube-driven spring reverb, the Royale captures every nuance of your playing, both on stage and in the studio. The Royale’s 5881 power section offers the choice of Class A (35W) or Class AB (50W) operation, plus a master volume to control the sound pressure level. The Class A mode provides the traditional cathode-biased Supro sound with a bold, spongy midrange. The Class AB mode offers a grid-biased California-sound with a more scooped midrange, tighter bass, and faster transient response. Housed in a poplar cabinet with vintage-inspired Black Scandia tolex and hemp grille cloth, the Royale is the most dynamically responsive, feature-rich, and high-headroom Supro amplifier to date. It features a custom Supro BD12 speaker. |
