25-KEY MINI USB MIDI MASTER KEYBOARD The Akai Professional MPK mini mk3 is the perfect solution, the third generation of the mini controller keyboard that has redefined the way music is made over the years. Everything a modern producer needs is available in the MPK mini MK3. From universal compatibility for immediate integration into your favorite production software to its compact size, perfect for those who travel and love to compose on-the-go, to the pads and assignable knobs to take command of all aspects of your musical productions. The second generation of keybed used in the Akai Professional MPK mini MKIII ensures an excellent touch response, both in terms of dynamics (velocity) and playability. Not only for synth parts, but also when playing virtual piano instruments, you will notice a significant improvement in articulation response compared to previous models and other small MIDI keyboards on the market. For beginners, the MPK mini is not just a controller, but a complete package of software, virtual plug-in instruments, and quality sounds to start producing music immediately. For professionals, the MPK mini provides important functions in an extremely compact footprint, thanks to complete customization available within the software editor for all MIDI messages generated by striking the pads and rotating the knobs. Finger drumming enthusiasts will find the 8 backlit, velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads derived from the iconic MPC series to be indispensable allies for their performances. Musical producers, live performers, DJs, and VJs will be able to take advantage of the various banks for the 8 pads, configurable with the simple press of a button in Note mode, to transmit MIDI note messages, CC, to send Control Change messages, or Prog Change, for Program Change messages. The messages generated by the pressure are fully customizable in detail by the user within the software editor (downloadable from akaipro.com), which allows us to send 8 different preset configurations to the hardware's internal memory, recallable when needed by simultaneously pressing the Select button along with one of the 8 pads. Your entry into the world of music production starts here, with the MPK mini and the Complete Music Production Starter Kit, a collection of software and sounds provided for free that includes the MPC Beats DAW software, AIR Music Tech Hybrid 3 virtual instruments (perfect for EDM, Trap, House, Techno, and electronic genres in general), the Mini Grand piano, the Velvet electric piano, and various MPC Expansion packs, in addition to the three instruments included in the MPC Beats software: Bassline, Tubesynth, Electric.Features
