By adding a preset amount of gain using a single control, the Micro Amp is a great solution for boosting your sound during a solo, or for balancing guitars with different output levels (for example, when switching from a guitar with humbuckers to one with single-coils). It is ideal for maintaining a constant boost in a long effects chain where signal drop is an issue.
